Cursa Fuel Co. / Learn / Minimum order
Ordering
There is a practical minimum that keeps a delivery worth the roll for both of us. Here is how it works and how to make small needs pencil out.
Rolling a fuel truck costs the same whether it drops 80 gallons or 800. Driver time, the vehicle, the trip out and back. A minimum is not us being difficult. It is the line where a delivery covers its own cost instead of quietly losing money on both sides.
That said, a hard minimum is a blunt tool. We would rather solve the real problem, which is usually that someone has a small tank and a steady need. There are better answers than refusing the work.
The goal is your cost per gallon, not the size of one drop. A right-sized standing order almost always beats sporadic small calls. Tell us your real burn and we will build the cheapest reliable way to cover it.
If your need is genuinely small and one-time, we will be straight with you about whether delivery makes sense or whether a pump run is the better call. If it is small but steady, we can almost always build a schedule that works. Call and tell us what you are running.
Fuel delivery and emergency fueling across Upstate South Carolina and the Southeast. Scheduled service, emergency response, and everything in between.
